ABSTRACT
The study aimed to know the importance of the principle of utilitarianism to the COS employees. This qualitative study used purposive sampling in selecting 10 COS employees at Isabela State University Cauayan City- Campus. In order to know the experiences of the COS employees, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with the respondents through a semi-structured interview guide. Then the researcher interpreted and analyzed the answers of COS employees, and as stated by the COS employees they have ways on how they follow the act and rule utilitarianism. It also included the challenges that were faced by the COS employees. The result of this study has a great contribution to the COS employees and school administrators of ISU- Cauayan. And as a result, it was discovered that COS employees are happy at their work. Even though they are just still COS employees in status, they get the happiness they want. COS employees are happy when they looked at their students acquiring the knowledge that they imparted. COS employees have challenges faced before attaining their happiness but it doesn’t stop them doing their work well.
