June 10, 2023 – Students and faculty from the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science of the School of Arts and Sciences immersed themselves in the Far Eastern University Global 2nd International Conference, June 6-7.
“Self-Sufficiency of Former 4Ps Beneficiaries in Isabela: Showcasing their Success Storiesโ authored by Romalyn T. Domingo and Kristine B. Pascua, Political Science alumni, was awarded as one of the top 5 best papers during the conference, mentored by Sir Arnold T. Pascua, Maam Jessa Marie Alvarez, and Sir Jeduard Bernardo.
Faculty members of the said program also attended the conference in the person of Dr. Paul Angelo Tamayo, Dean of School of Arts and Sciences, Sir Narsal Foronda, Maam Jessa Marie Alvarez, Maam Shiela Antonette Bacud, and Maam Concordia Marie Lagasca-Hiloma as moderators in the Parallel Discussions and Sir Jeduard E. Bernardo, BAPOS Program Chair, being one of the discussants in Roundtable Discussion.
Jevichelle Kyla Belmote and Jennel Zabat presented their research paper entitled, โIndigenous Knowledge and Practices of Agta Community and Thier Role on Environmental Governance.โ
Eunice Nicole R. Guyod and Ruthjoy Alcalas discussed thier co-authored paper which is “Impact of Differences in Political Ideologies in Students’ Social Relationships” and “Civic-Minded Leadership: Participation of Student Leaders of Isabela State Univery- Cauayan City Campus in Civic Affairs”, respectively.
