𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝟏𝟏 𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐒𝐄 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 ‘𝟐𝟑
November 8, 2023 – On November 3, among the approximate 64-thousand passers as reported by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), six students and four alumni from the School of Arts and Sciences of Isabela State University-Cauayan City Campus passed the Professional Level of the Career Service Eligibility Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) and an alumnus on the Sub-Professional Level taken on August 20.
Candice Mae Uy, a junior from the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS), mustered up the courage, took the exam, and passed it, inspiring other BAELS students to try and take the CSE-PPT on the next schedule.
Juniors Adenie Ader and Princess Janah Burgos and ’22 alumni Cherese Erika Paredes and Ariel Gabriel Abrenilla from the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPOS) are among the many passers in CSE-PPT who also came from SAS, wherein Abrenilla passed the exam’s Sub-Professional Level and the rest otherwise.
From the Bachelor of Science in Legal Management (BSLM), three seniors, namely Nackyjohn Abilong, Aedrian Voltaire Santander, and Jessa Anacleto, and three alumni, namely Isaiah Ceasar Bie (’17), Marjorie Pechardo (’16), and Lovejoy Calub (’18), triumphed with passing the CSE-PPT as well, adding to the long list of registered civil servants from BSLM.
The next CSE-PPT is scheduled to take place on March 3, 2024, and the application period will begin on November 20 to January 3, 2024; aspiring civil servants must keep in mind that the application is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants are required to submit the following: (1) a fully accomplished Application Form; (2) four copies of passport-size ID; (3) original and photocopy of valid ID; and (4) an examination fee worth 500 pesos.
